This piece is all about drama. We call it a "360 vase" as it is great looking from every angle. There is a small dimple created in the shoulder of the piece and the dimple was loaded up with glass frit. The grit melted and began to run down the glaze. Silver nitrate and cobalt oxide were used to create additional depth in the surface.

The piece is best used with dry contents.

It stands 10 1/2 inches tall and is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.

The beautiful patterns created by saggar firing, especially tin foil saggar simply fascinating. All the work is handmade using stoneware clay.
