This square plate has an abstract pattern that, while not intended to be scenic in nature leans that way. The slip that forms the basis on the pattern crackles in the first firing and when glazed creates a situation when the crackle pattern is highlighted. We call the effect "Turtle Skin" as it reminds us of the skin of a sea turtle.

The piece is microwavable and dishwasher safe. It is safe for food.

The square plate is approximately 10 inches across.
