This is larger than the picture might lead you to think it is. It is 19 x 9 inches.

The blue glaze and the two colored wave brush strokes and accentuated by the textured added to teh piece as it was formed. Yes, the pattern or this piece was decided a month of more before the glaze was applied. Even before stoneware was laid over it's form, the pattern was applied.

The plate is food safe. It is both microwave and dishwasher safe.

The beautiful patterns created by saggar firing, especially tin foil saggar simply fascinating. All the work is handmade using stoneware clay.
