This small plate can be used for food, does well in the microwave and is fine in the dishwasher. It is a great size to use as a ring dish. It works well for soap or as a drop for keys. The pattern is one of our newest and mimic waves. The process of creating the waves involved "side loading" the brush with two glazes. But the brush is contaminated by the process and in order to keep the pattern "clean" the brush is cleaned after every other stroke. A bit slower than some of our other patterns.

The beautiful patterns created by saggar firing, especially tin foil saggar simply fascinating. All the work is handmade using stoneware clay.
