This plate is formed with a slab. Our technique for drying the piece is long and involved but results in consistently flatter ware than most. I'll not go into details but I'll just say, it involved old, used socks.

The glaze is food safe. The stoneware piece can be used in the microwave is fine in the dishwasher.

The piece is approximately 9 x 6 1/2 inches.
