Made from a high quality stoneware clay, this plate is microwavable and dishwasher safe. It is safe for food. The scenic decoration is of a type that we have been doing for over 40 years. We brought it back as we approach this, our 50 year in clay. It is approximately 11 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.
