This small plate has a decoration that we've used on our work for about 40 years, orginating in our studio located in Blackfoot, Idaho. The actual name for a plate of this shape is a coupe. There is no rim. As we drive throughout the Inner-mountain West we frequently see the scenics manifested in the long vista in front of us. The plate is approximately 6 3/4 in diameter.

Lickinflames is proud of it's 45 year history of making pottery using raku, obvara and feather decorations. The beautiful patterns created by saggar firing, especially tin foil saggar simply fascinating. All the work is handmade using stoneware clay.
