A bit difficult to capture on "film" but the top and inside of the bowl are a semi-matte white glaze and the bottom is a glossy white. The inside and top have the coolest "hand" to them...soft...almost buttery. I've been working towards this glaze for about a year. A month ago the first tests that I liked came out and this was the first opportunity since then to glaze this piece.
The islands in the stream are a deep copper color.
Over all this piece has it's own stately presence about it. Almost begs to be touched.
The banners in our booth needed a little housekeeping.
Seems we no longer make some of the products on the current banners any longer. Daughter, Katy, is prepping the photos for the new banners as I type. I'll begin the layouts for the new banner set in the morning and then send them off to the vendor for the build.
I'm hoping that the new banners will be hung at STITCHES West in Santa Clara. The show opens on the 23rd of the month. It's gunna be a tight squeeze this one is.
