So I'm standing in my booth at Oregon Flock and Fiber and one of my neighbors stops in on a break. She looks down at the Lamb Brooches and says, "These would be so cool as shawl pins."
Why I never thought of that I have no idea, but she did and she shared and I made it happen. I freely admit that most of my best "stuff" comes from conversations with friends and customers.
One of the fashion trends happening at the moment are knitted skirts. Our brand new Skirt Pins are being shown at The National Needle Arts winter wholesale show in just a couple of weeks. As we've been playing around with the Skirt Pins, we're finding that they do well as shawl pins, hat pins...they're point is sharp enough to use on most fabric coats and they have been pretty nifty as a brooch. Because the pins is sharper, you can catch the shawl and a blouse or coat too!
